Dr Frans Swanepoel grew up in Ermelo. He studied dentistry at the University of Pretoria. After qualifying he went to the UK and worked in London. He came back and specialised as an Orthodontist in 1990. He practices currently in Pretoria. He loves to play golf at Silver Lakes CC and is a true Blue Bull supporter. He also enjoys reading, travelling and visiting his friends. He is the proud father of 3 children and has a grandson named Lourens.
Ina Prinsloo is the front face of the practice. She will assist you with appointments as well as any other questions you have.
She loves playing golf at Silver Lakes CC and stay fit by taking early morning walks. She has a son and four grand children and love them very much.
Charmaine has been with the practice for 9 years. She is a devoted wife and mother of a son & daughter, and loves spening time in the veld with them on their smallholding just outside of the city. She enjoys baking,crocheting and mosaic, and may "chalk paint" you too if you hold still too long. She values humility and respect. One of her favorite quotes is: "we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating" (L Pavarotti)
Elmine is a recent re-addition to the practice, having worked for Dr Swanepoel for an extended period in the past. She is the very proud mother of two beautiful daughters, and they enjoy time spent outdoors in nature. She enjoys exercising and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, but also watching movies, Netflix and spending time with friends. Rude drivers frustrate this gentle lady, and her motto is to always trust in the Lord.
Liesl has been back with the practice for 5 years, having been with the practice another 5 years in the past. She is happily married and the fortunate mom of a spunky little girl. They enjoy watching cooking shows together and spending time with their families. She is a bookworm who also enjoys playing piano and singing. She finds efficiency soothing, and believes in always giving your best. Her hope is that the love of Jesus will be felt by anyone who comes in contact with her.
Cornel has been with the practice for 18 years and she is our fountain of information and nr. 1 call in a crisis! She is married to a gentle giant, whom she enjoys volatile cooking sessions with, and humorously describes her home life as complicated. She enjoys reading, crocheting and mosaic, and values peace and quiet. She has a little crush on Dr. Gregory House.
Leonie has been with the practice since it's infancy, for 29 yrs and 10 months. She is happily maaried and the proud mother of 2 children. She loves to spend her time watching (and playing) sport, reading and crocheting, and has a great sense of humour. She values honesty and struggles with unreasonable behaviour. She finds comfort in Habakuk 3 vs 19 (NLT): "The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights."
She has been an integral part of the practice for 21 yrs. She is the epitome of work and ethic. She is a devoted wife and mother, and enjoys holidays and social braais. Her free time she spends knitting, reading and planning her next holiday. She prized good hygiene and grooming, and lives by the following assurances with her faith: Jer 29vs11 "For I know the plan I have for you, they are plans for good and not disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
Tumi, affectionately nicknamed Frankie, has been with the practice for 3 years. He is a true gentleman and a dedicated husband and father of 3 sons and a daughter. He enjoys watching soccer with his family, and spending time in his garden. He values silence and tranquility, and his Bible is his main source of inspiration and direction.
Ellis has been keeping a watchful eye over the practice for the past year, always ready with a warm and friendly welcome. He is blessed with 3 sons, residing in Upington, and when he is able to see them he enjoys watching wresting with them. He has a talent for technical tasks and enjoys feeding his ability. He believes in hard work and that laziness should not be rewarded. His peace is found in Psalm 23.
